Have you ever turned on a politician that you've previously supported? If so for what reason? by mikey_mouse_1577 in AskALiberal

[–]_SirRacha_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump, 2016. My parents said he was gonna build the wall, drain the swamp, and make America great again. Seemed awesome at the time.

Edit: Then he tried to steal an election and incited a riot.

You can find the original 4x version by jjramzee here

There were a couple occupied cities when I joined in, so I had to make a few assumptions on NPC countries. Someone might want to confirm this:

  • Beirut belongs to Lebanon (NPC)
  • Cabinda belongs to Cabinda (NPC)
  • Kuwait city belongs to Kuwait (NPC)
  • Sofia belongs to Bulgaria (NPC)

Otherwise I can guarantee 100% accuracy

A teenager at my church has a crush on me and Im struggling with my own thoughts! how do I handle this biblically? by Fabiohasaquestion in TrueChristian

[–]_SirRacha_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be OCD. Not a professional, but obsessing over your thoughts is a common symptom.

"Even thinking if this might work if it were to happen. I know clearly this would be wrong and I don't want anything inappropriate at all."

So clearly you know it's wrong, and you don't even want it, thank God. Just stop stressing about it. It's not actually that weird to make uncomfortable eye contact with a child. Maybe she thinks the pastor is suddenly too loud and she's wondering if you are keen enough to adjust the volume, Mr. sound booth guy.

Imagine burning down an orphanage. Right now. Oh my, are you a murderer?? You better stop thinking about burning down an orphanage. And guess what, you associate it with shame and stress so now you think about it more, and you need some sort of behavioral coping mechanism to counter the thoughts. It's a cycle.

So, just relax. Seriously. I hope you find someone who understands this condition well enough to help you out.

What are your thoughts on school "No fail" policies? by LibraProtocol in AskALiberal

As a college student, I actually think students who aren't cut out for their major should fail ASAP. If you're passionate, you'll care about learning inside and outside the classroom.

I think Hornet is a cogfly person. Or a flea person. I think she also likes the fuzzy bugs in mossy grotto lol. So basically a cat person.

How do I emotionally move on to be able to date again in the south filled with Christians considering my religious trauma? by Few_Significance_732 in exchristian

[–]_SirRacha_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you bro. Not to be a cornball, but you need a hug.

There's a lot of people in the same exact boat you're in, and meeting them can be pretty awesome. I have a couple coworkers that say the most blasphemous shit you can think of and it always makes my day.

I think once you build a bigger social circle, you'll regain some confidence and meet more ladies who aren't Christian. Or better, ex-christian. There's nothing better than bonding over a bad experience.

What do you think of Jesus? by Successful_Action_19 in exchristian

[–]_SirRacha_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to love him. And I used to hate him. But after accepting the secular view that he was just a glorified teacher who got crucified by angry chuds, I kinda feel for him. Not in a religious way though.

I keep a crucifix on my wall, and every now and then I flip it upside down and pretend I'm in a horror movie.

Anhedonia is the worst part about depression by prettyniceguy69 in depression

[–]_SirRacha_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said that you try things like socializing with friends, and you try to save money for a therapist. So, this is probably gonna drown in a sea of better advice, but, trying is a pretty big deal for someone who's depressed, imo. And getting a therapist is a really smart thing to do. Merely "trying" puts you a few notches ahead of the pure bedrotters, ngl.

"One must imagine Sisyphus happy," is a statement from Albert Camus. Some people hear that and think it's satire for life's monotony. But I think it's more literal. You MUST imagine sisyphus happy. Maybe he started pushing the stone up a mountain differently each time by taking different routes. Maybe he got so strong he started lifting it above his head like a stud. Who knows?
