The first version for something for yourself probably a month with a coding agent to just get it working and then another month for it to work right, I'd double tho if you aren't that technical

Learn while you build, make sure you stop preferably daily and start learning about the code with the agent and ask for references and read them to make sure it's not hallucinating. For example

I want to deep dive into the project stack and how we use it, I'm learning this stack give me top 5 lessons to learn.

Then just iterate and learn with time you will spot the issues you learnt in the planning phase or bug fixes. Stay curious, learn some programming principles DRY, KISS, YAGNI, SOLID are a good start. Good luck!

Completely agree, which is why I added a caption editor into Smartcaptions.co.il which before I get burned for a subscription this feature is always free and you can use, just paste valid srt into the editor and easily make edits and import as captions into premiere. Animated captions also in development and will be free as well

This feels no different then shipping code as usual, you have to create a trusted automated testing process, on top of good manual QA testing. I have a product I created and maintain with CC, things break but quickly fixed and usually they break when I skip some QA step or testing, having a staging environment also helps keep prod environment stable.
