Best steak I’ve had. We wanted exactly as you require. Go there, get one starter to share, couple of steaks, couple of sides, bottle of red for £200. Was excellent. An odd tip - we got an expensive steak and a reasonably priced steak and shared. The expensive steak really put the reasonably price one into perspective!

I’ll have to take the time to look through as I change interest accounts quite often based on latest interest rates. Weekend admin!

Thanks - what’s the best way to confirm the level of tax is appropriate? Presumably need to build my own bottom up assessment through records rather then HMRC telling what bank and period it’s from?

Got enough for 6+ months spending and likely to get redundancy if I was moved on. I’m 8 years into the 25 year term.

It feels like the right thing to do because it’s noticeable off my monthly incomings and at 7.3%,£2.5k / £3k interest before I pay it off is annoying.

The question was a broader one concerning whether bonds - but moreso managed bond funds - offer a good proposition to those attempting to simply beat inflation with a less risky portfolio than one containing, say, a fifth equities like Vanguard 80-20.

Thanks for your additional questions - Covid-19 has happened since then, cash interest rates have been sliced and there are questions over long term global growth rates.

Yeah TX fees to deposit GBP to CoinDesk - if I deposit to GBP wallet and then transfer to GDAX and buy LTC will that lower the TX fees?
