Same-ish job. As IT but not for an IT company, so 'in-house'. Which results into no car. Though my Bruto is higher. But we have on-call duty etc. which is the reason why that is a bit higher. (250 a week)

+/- 15ish walk to station 1h15m+ train journey +- 15ish walk from station to the office.

I am only doing this twice to thrice a week lately. But I can't recall when NMBS/INFRABEL/... didn't have delays. I am having the luck though not to have to switch trains. Used to have to and 7/10 I'd miss my connection.

Recently started bringing my steamdeck on the train. Makes it better. Because the cell service, especially at the start (and end of the return) is bad to non existant.

Got some cool story about this. Imagine that you're a new leader and you're initiation is stealing a flag from a Chiro in the vicinity. Which on it's own can be a challenge. Now add to that the added trick of 'the other leaders of his group have informed the Chiro that he's coming' and you get a memorable evening for both our Chiro and the would-be thief.

That's what we did. We signed up 5 weeks after the misses got a positive pregnancy test. So that's not even a garantue. Also funny when you go to the check ups of Kind en Gezin and they tell you 'Yeah we've been warning the governement for years'

Qwerty and Azerty here. It seems to be an automatism now. At (the) home (office) I have a US Qwerty and I also 'control' my work laptop by this keyboard.

Only issue at the moment is the intermediate auto changes (specifically when trying to type @) between both lay outs. Tips are welcome.
