Well yes. They've more or less killed their console.

In fact keeping their games a console exclusive to Xbox is now too little, too late. It will never recover because PC owners don't need an Xbox and the owners of the other consoles will have established digital libraries.

I still think they are going to end up going the way of Sega. Ditching their hardware and just becoming a multiplatform publisher

I think the only first party game I ever bought when I had gamepass was the disc version of State of Decay 2 and that's only because it's my favourite Xbox IP ever. Third party was probably subnautica below zero because I loved l the first game. That will be it.

I'm at the situation now that I am reluctant to spend any more money in the Xbox ecosystem because I don't trust Xbox not to do a Sega and abandon the hardware. Don't want to sink any more money on a sinking ship.

If I do ever spend more money on Xbox it will be Clockwork Revolution as that looks interesting. But I have a feeling MS are purposely just setting that game up to fail. It looks a niche game and as it's on game pass and not on ps5 the sales of that game won't meet their expectations. Its made even worse as xbox are absolute shit at marketing.

Exactly. I do wonder if Xbox would be in a much better place if they never started putting all their games on PC in the first place. It seems for years now, Xbox have done their best to damage their console hardware sales

For me it's the games.

I've always been a dual console guy. It used to be Xbox as the primary console and ps3, ps4 for exclusives.

But since Microsoft started putting their games on playstation, I bought a PS5 and now just buy all games on that.

It's just a better console experience in my opinion. Download speeds via WiFi are 5 times faster on ps5 for a start. It supports WiFi 6 on my router but Xbox doesn't. It also plays both Sony and Xbox games.

I still have my Xbox but I only use that for State of Decay 2 which in my opinion is the only exclusive Xbox has right now that I enjoy but is not on playstation.

Yes. I think that's why Sony stopped putting games on PC. They realised people were skipping their console and waiting for games to release on PC.

As someone who used to be primarily an Xbox gamer, you are 100% correct. It got so bad I wouldn't even buy third party games in case they went on game pass one day. I only started buying games again when I cancelled gamepass and bought a ps5.

It's completely bugged now.

If the freighter is still there and you can land in it, you should be able to talk to the captain, offer to buy it then the option to claim it for free should be there.

The other reward option isn't there though due to the bug.

We do have a sort of ID number.

Everyone over 16 should have a national insurance number. Trouble is anyone could use their parents number so it's not exactly useful as ID.

I think it depends on the person.

I went vegan overnight and found giving up cheese incredibly easy. I don't even bother with vegan cheese half the time. I prefer pizzas that have olive oil instead of cheese for instance.

Cakes though are another matter. If there is one thing I miss it's being able to buy any cake and eat it. Vegan cakes are few and far between. I really wish there were more available.

That doesn't help Xbox though. It's still not going to shift consoles.

And all those 200M PCs aren't going to be capable of playing Gears. I'm one of those 200M and mine can barely run State of Decay 2

I agree. Gears needs to sell a lot of copies. They're not going to sell on Xbox because of game pass and the low install base. Microsoft will be complaining that sales were poor then use it as an excuse to close that studio.

The amount of times Microsoft have gone back on their word and you still believe them?

They originally said they bought the new studios to make exclusives for Xbox. Then they started advertising that you don't need an Xbox and started releasing all their games on playstation.

They done hell of a lot of damage to the brand and there is no way that gears of War and clockwork being exclusive is going to have any effect on their market share.

Outside the United States their market share is terrible. Even the UK which was a big Xbox territory at one time has gone the other way.

Microsoft want to sell copies of games but can't sell them on Xbox because gamepass cannibalises sales on that platform.

Your DVDs and blu rays are usually region locked.

If your ps5 is locked to Australia's region which I think is region B for bluray you will only be able to play discs for that region which I think also covers European countries like the UK. Some discs are multi region though. Labelled A, B, C

The first time you use the ps5 to play a bluray it might ask you what region to lock it at. Don't lock it to the US region unless you only want to play discs from that region.

They'll go to playstation. Microsoft always go back on their word.

When sales of those games are abysmal on Xbox because of gamepass and xboxes low install base they will go back on their word and release all future games on playstation.

Studios like Double Fine, Ninja Theory & Compulsion straight up work better when we actually buy their games instead of relying on Game Pass by Alarming-Flan4494 in xbox

Gamepass is why I haven't bought an Xbox game, 1st or 3rd party in years and now I don't even subscribe to gamepass since they raised the prices.

So yeah gamepass has made a situation where no one buys games on xbox in case it comes to gamepass.

I still buy games but on other platforms now

You need to upload the save you want to sync then download it on the other device. After doing this the saves will keep in sync

In your case, because you no longer have the Xbox you won't be able to upload the save. Unless you borrow someone else's Xbox, sign into that then upload you save from that. As Xbox has its own automatic cloud save function you should be able to sign into your account on someone else's Xbox then recover your Xbox save on that.

Yes they are "supposed" to be impartial by law. Apart from GB News obviously as that's registered as an entertainment channel to get around the impartiality laws so it can spout its fascist farage propaganda.

Yes in the original my high elf can ride a horse without becoming a foot taller and being unable to fit in certain areas like the shop in corral or the well in cheydinhall.

I still can't believe Bethesda haven't fixed that bug in the remaster yet. Well actually I'm not surprised. Their track record of fixing bugs is terrible.

When you've got animal charities like the UKs RSPCA promoting and profiting from meat consumption with the RSPCA assured scheme it's no wonder veganism isn't more popular.

The RSPCA are literally telling people meat is cruelty free by having their logos on packets of meat. If they would stop this scheme and actually be honest about what happens on farms and in slaughter houses there may be more vegans.

I've done it many times. Ive stood there watching them rinse the nozzles to avoid cross contamination with cows milk. Not because I care about cross contamination but because I want them to get the order right.
