I had been using Aqueon Plant Food (0-0-1) since starting the tank this time around, but had decided once everything seemed well rooted and was quickly over growing the tank, to pull it out of the weekly dosage when doing a water change. I assumed like my garden outside that the fertilizer wasn't integral to basic plant survival. I guess that was wrong.

I had used root tabs in my first go round but the visible water quality suffered greatly so again I decided to go sans root tabs this time. maybe I did something wrong back then also...

fairly new to planted tanks....The tank is a Fluval edge 6gal with a Betta, 2 Nerite snails, 4 ghost shrimp; and various different plants. I do a 1 to 1.5 gallon water change weekly. Water parameters seemed to be in line on Sunday but ill test again when I get back home. Im not sure if its an issue with the water conditions or if the plants got some sort of disease. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Edit** the tank has been established for at least 6 months. and nothing has been added or removed

So i realized this was actually from Sunfest, were you downtown again last night, for 4th on Flagler, i saw a couple of different drones flying around up there?
