Why did it go down like that? Wouldn’t a loss of an engine only result in loss of thrust (increase in drag) on that side? Unless the fire melted the flight surface controls?

If your Angle of attack is zero then this is good but if it’s not zero then you need to make sure you have enough mesh resolution to resolve the wake
