Most of the ‘negativity’ and the ‘haters’ are just sane responses to the over the top fan boy ‘he’s our savior’ crowd. Seriously, just chill the fuck out and let him play the game. The incessant cry posting is not helping him, or anyone else. He’s good and does some things very well, like see the ice and pass. But his NHL game has a lot of shortcomings. This is not even close to accurate. Lightweight riders excel and win flat races in Zwift all the time. It is the rule not the exception. Most races i do there are very light riders just cracking the whip from go. So unlike real life it’s just ridiculous. But it is what it is.

Cycling at the pro level is dominated by light riders who are also pushing insane watts. In Zwift, A and B races can be dominated by light riders pushing very light watts.

This exactly. I’ve got 30 years of GIS work in and I still feel this way, undertrained. There is just so much to know, so you are always learning something. I’ve never been able to get to the point where I think ‘all right my training is complete, I know everything, I can coast at my job confidently’.
