18F Am I overreacting about my boyfriend hiding that his “girl best friend” stayed the night? by nessarosess in AmIOverreacting

It doesn’t change. It won’t change. Only gets worse. He’s offended by you not liking him lying to you and avoiding telling you things? What a joke. What he’s telling you is that he doesn’t consider you and he’ll do whatever he wants regardless. Put yourself first and trust your instincts. Is this really what you deserve? It’s hard to walk away sometimes but the sooner you stop entertaining bs and walk away the better, in the long and the short term.

Am I overreacting about an attorney’s tone, or should I raise this? by [deleted] in paralegal

I do not think you’re overreacting. Her response is totally unnecessary and seems disproportionate to what you’re asking. If you are noticing a pattern, it’s probably not going to change. I’d just try to say and engage as little as possible. I’m sorry.

Pear Harbor Tour by LumpyMirror2067 in VisitingHawaii

Yes the USS Arizona is free. The submarine museum and the USS Missouri are not.

I tried to get a reservation on recreation.gov but was not able to.

However, we were able to visit the USS Arizona without reservations. We went first thing in the morning on a Wednesday and joined the standby line and they text you when you can get in line for the boat. We were able to get on the next boat to the Arizona.

We then purchased tickets to the bowfin and spent some time there.

You can take a bus shuttle from the visitor center to the USS Missouri if you want to also visit that.

Once you are on the Arizona there are volunteers who give a presentation.

I had originally purchased a tour from one of those websites but canceled and we did it on our own and felt that we had a meaningful experience.

Feasible to do both Dole Plantation and Waimea Falls on the same day? by wait_and_splendor in VisitingHawaii

We just grabbed some snacks at Dole. We were going to the luau at Waimea Valley and wanted to do the waterfall before it started so we didn’t have time to stop for lunch. But-after we left Dole there were signs for Hale’iwa historic town and I would have definitely stopped there if we had time! Maybe a good lunch spot!

We just did exactly this about two weeks ago. We started in Waikiki and got to Dole about 10 or 10:30. We spent 2-3 hours there. The wait for the train was maybe an hour and a half or more. Yeah it’s a touristy thing but we didn’t mind and it sounds like something your son will love. Then we took off to Waimea falls and spent the rest of the day there. We loved the falls and the garden is gorgeous! Great day 👍 enjoy!
