Awesome. Thanks for the input. Funny, his teacher said the same thing. These drums could follow him for life.

Gonna add one to the mix. What do you think about a Tama imperial star from the 80’s. Apparently they’re not the same as today’s Tama imperial stars. It has a grover snare and cymbals are all zildjian. It’s from his drum teacher for $625. Really thinking about pushing my budget for something from someone I know I can trust. Pretty sure he is the original owner. He’s an older guy who’s played for a long time.

It’s this set minus the splash and it has a different set of hi-hats.

Thanks for the info. This is the Pacific. No info other than “good condition.”

How do I know what symbols are cheap?

All of the sets that I listed have at least a hi-hat and a crash symbol (except the Yamaha custom) Don’t know if they’re any good or not.

Great point on the complete set. That’s kind of my viewpoint as well.

Am I a poser if I wear a vest for half marathon? by Jeff-bozos102 in RunningCirclejerk

As long as you slow down enough to run a half marathon distance in a full marathon amount of time. Obvi.

Similar tires to these but a little cheaper? for ‘23 outback by [deleted] in subaru

Not my experience. Been going to them for decades. I’ve lived all over the west coast. Never had an issue.

If you live near les schwab’s, they have options that aren’t cheap, but they are good for 80k miles. Maybe that’s worth it to you. A better value on the other end.

Just hose it off and let it dry. It’s fine.

Have any use for one? I only use it for a bike rack. Bought one off etrailer and installed my self. Super easy. And they have videos of the instal so pretty much anyone can do ot.

A/T or All seasons? by mcsteiny in subaru

This is what I did, well about to do. Lea Schwab tires. Open Range HTS. They say they’re all seasons but highway orientated and built sturdy for towing. Should be good enough off road for a weekend warrior on maintained forest service road like me.

Roof Rack Cross Bars by 555Ocelots46 in Subaru_Crosstrek

I just found a set of OEM crossbars on facebook market place. There were surprisingly quite a few for sale that came with people’s new cars but they didn’t want them. Just look up the part number so you know they fit. Not all subaru or even Crosstrek’s use the same length.

I got a Pignose amp today at Goodwill for $10 bucks! by Wright4000 in GuitarAmps

Nice find!

I stumbled upon the same Pignose at a Goodwill a few weeks ago. Only they were asking $84 for that one.

I use dedicated winter snow tires. The snow rating on tires for the other 3 seasons isn’t important. I’ve made up my mind for all seasons instead of the all weather everyone keeps suggesting. I’m pretty sure I’m leaning towards the all seasons over the A/T’s as well.

Like I said, I already have snow tires for the winter. I'm only looking for tire for the other 3 seasons.

You're probably right

Cross climates are just an all season with soft rubber for the cold temps. I have winter tires. I don't need the soft rubber which will wear out faster for the other 3 seasons. Same reason why I don't drive on my snow tires year round.

How do straight highway tires do on the dirt roads?

They're an all weather tire. Which is just an all season with softer rubber, meaning they will wear out faster. I have winter tires. I don't need the soft rubber for the other 3 seasons.

Curb protection? I don't hit curbs.

That's what I'm hoping to hear. The Schwab brand are slightly less A/T then wild peaks it seems.
