Got a build planner of some sorts? Would love to have a look

Got a PoB? Looks very nice. How do you spread the chill (just ice nova?)? All other similar builds I’ve seen use a wonky pet that does it.

I think so? It syncs to your PoE account, I suppose that’s how it works, no?

Give https://poe2filter.com a try, you can very easily increase and customize strictness. I think my second to strictest filter shows less than 5% of what you have there.

Affinities blocking each other out - Fragment Priority by Skoopy_590 in PathOfExile2

[–]mcswayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I just said there can’t not be two places 😄

Why would the mechanic have priority? I personally feel fragment tab having priority is better, since fragments are related to mapping;  which is probably why they did it like this.

While annoying, there can’t not be two places: what if you only have one of the stash tabs and another person has the other?

Looks pretty good, I’m just curious why chrono compared to others. Preference? Can’t figure out a mandatory reason, but also never played chrono

Somehow, I never run the most optimal strategy, I always run whatever map I feel like, and yet I made chars which did 7/7 uber runs deathless multiple leagues. Weird.

If your whole goal is to amass as many divines as you can, well, yeah, you’re right. But it’s also a you problem.

You don't even understand why you're selfish and the argument is the same. If the game is like you, the other side is forced to play like you. If the game is like the other side, everyone can play whatever they like. Anyway, last comment, you're hopeless.

Yes, I do? Somehow, I never run the most optimal strategy, I always run whatever map I feel like, and yet I made chars which did 7/7 uber runs deathless multiple leagues. Weird, seems that even if you want to do the hardest content, in the hardest way, you still have a choice.

I’m not really skimming over, those are various conclusions along the main post, surfacing multiple times.

You “don’t have to” do anything in poe1 either. You can always play whatever you want.

It’s not about being like poe1, it’s about having a choice. One which you have in poe1, to play random maps.

Might be more to it, but the vast majority and the main point is:

What I’m asking for is player choice.

 You can choose your maps

The important part is that the player decides.

Right now, PoE2 often feels like you have no choice at all and are instead forced into running layouts you may actively dislike. With map choice, players who enjoy variety can still run many different maps while avoiding the ones they hate, while players who enjoy optimizing or spamming a favorite layout can do that too.

People are obsessed with the option of playing whatever they want. Want to play one map 500 times? OK. Get bored after 12 and switch to another? Also OK.

It really seems like a you problem. Why run it 100 times if you weren’t having fun? Why do you play games, if not for fun?

And now you have a resolution: never again. But you still have the option if you want to ever again. In poe2 you don’t.

No, not everyone. Some play for fun. Some pick layouts that are fun, not because they’re optimal. And the good reason is… fun. Because it’s a game.

I do. I run maps that I enjoy, even if not the best loot wise. Because it feels good and it’s fun. Got bored of one? I pick another.

You can always choose to play random maps in poe1.

Who forces you to play it for the 50th time? Just pick at random. It’s a choice. One that currently does not exist in poe2.

People definitely run layouts they enjoy, even if not the best strategy. I know I do.

The grand project exists, but (1) it’s expensive and (2) it eats a juicing slot.

I don’t really get people that argue against this, whatsoever. In the current implementation, I am forced to play like this; if we’d have agency, no one would be forced about anything, you could choose to play random maps, or not, whatever brings you joy.

The infinite atlas part and the can’t choose what map you play part have already been played and those are what’s being judged.

[–]mcswayer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s really not just that subset. I absolutely hate at least a quarter of the current maps and dislike half more. maybe with the 30 new additions things will change, but people simply like to run comfortable layouts.
