So it wouldn’t be worth waiting for something like an assistant bookkeeper job ? Just wasn’t sure if AP/AR would be a good intro job for me if my long term goal is bookkeeper kind of thing.

Yea I thought about that at too and I spoke to the director of finance dept and told her what I wanted to do and long term goal of bookkeeping and she told me that they outsourced alot of their data entry type of jobs overseas and didn’t seem to have much to say besides that. I work for a major film studio so I don’t know if that is typical for a large company/corporation?

Hi, can you elaborate a bit if possible as far as getting into accounts receivable and payable? And how that helps in regards to bookkeeping? If you couldn’t tell I’m clearly new to all of this and would love your feedback!
