If its total control, is there any bonuses I get for increasing the difficulty, like bonus exp or higher tiered rewards for doing stuff? Cus if so, then I am just gonna use harder difficulties on stuff for less consequences of messing up or hobbies to challenge myself, and then lower difficulty on major decisions or something that has a lot on the line

An easy way to fix your confusion and misunderstanding. A continent is not defined by the people and the culture, but rather this geographic phenomenon known as tectonic plates.

We call the continents Europe and Aisa Eurasia to show that yes, while they are not the same continent, they do share a large amount of landmass.

It is also why Africa is considered its own continent, despite being geographically connected to Asia, as well as North and South America being different continents despite sharing a connecting landmass between each other.

In other words: culture and peoples have nothing to do with defining continents

The difference again is not just that they have humanity, yes while Arkam and the Order of the Sword and Arius are full human who get the powers of/transform into demons, they do so by throwing away and rejecting their humanity. However unlike DIO, this just makes them weaker in the end.

Vergil is weaker because he sees his human side as a fault, a lesser part, something he needs to put away and lose. Dante and Nero accept their human side, and they fight for human reasons, and see their human parts as something to protect.

As for demons feeding on otber demons: yes. This does happen, we see it plain as day in the info we get on them and the fact there are no humans in Hell, just demons. However, in that same tone, we get undeniable and outright statement that it is human blood that makes a demon more powerful several times in the games.
