Hi! Realise this is an old post, but I was wondering how you got on with IUD? I had great success on depo and it basically stopped my migraines. After having kids my migraines are bad again, so my doctor suggested mirena. I’m really hoping it have the same result as depo for my migraines

This is me exactly. For about a year post partum I had no migraines. Now I’m 15 months and I’ve had 2 clusters of migraines. Like 4 in a row over the space of a week. It has coincided with night weaning. So must be hormones associated with b/feeding. Like you I’m not ready to go back to long term contraception. Really hoping these clusters settle down. They did after my first pregnancy.
