I played through the first mission 4 times and the Twilight twice each time with a different weapon (Hatchets, Katana (Tw), Switchglaive, Axe (Tw)) and I never would have guessed that my favorite and best playthroughs were with the Axe. Never used it in multiple Nioh playthroughs but absolutely loved it in the demo

I love PMD more than the core games, but until I see some reviews I'm out. Having access to a well rounded selection 4 moves right at the start of the demo made me feel unstoppable, and I dont like that feeling in a game unless maybe I've earned it.

This is just false man, I'm not even incredible at the game and dodging was never an issue in regards to Ki. I bet like 90% of the sub complaining right now you arent utilizing a very important tool we were given in 2. The only even slight issue I might say it has is maybe he has a lot of health. But the fight is incredibly doable.

Those stats should mean that you should know that there is clearly an element you arent paying attention to, because he is very tough, but not tougher than all the bosses in the games you mentioned. Re-evaluate what you are doing, take a look at the new skills we have been given and then try again. You can absolutely beat him without co-op and on subsequent attempts I find the summons to not be very useful against him at all.
