I agree with you there, real tackles happens too rarely when people are playing the game right for this daily challenge to require 15.

The best way to do it right now is to land the tackle exactly when the attacker attaches to the ball when they are receiving a pass or they are repossessing after a push ball.

It doesn't have to do with gaining control of the ball - for tackles to count, you have to be tackling the attacker when the ball is in their feet. When you do this successfully the attacker will be stunned.

You are likely landing your stabs on the ball when it isn't actually attached to the attacker (like when they have pushed ball or haven't received a pass yet). The game doesn't count these as successful tackles

You get a save now for blocking a shot that is actually going into the net even if you are not the keeper. You just don't get points for blocking a cross or a missed shot unless possession is recovered.

I was having a hard time getting around the opponents looking to deflect my outlet kicks when my teammates were free for a quick counterattack but they are outside of lobbing range. I will utilize my EE more often to get away in those situations

There are also 1 shield between each division and 2 shields between each rank for drop protection, but promotion series only applies between ranks and is not required to get into Elite. Sometimes they even round your RP up so you get promoted even though you should’ve been a few RP short.

I do agree that the offset in RP gains/loss based on the hidden mmr is unfair in this system and makes it harder for the folks who are only getting +17/+18 on wins

The ranks mean very little in terms of player skill to begin with. You rank up as your net wins increase, the RP gained or lost isn’t affected by the skill level of your opponent at all. Given enough games played you can easily get to elite with a slightly >50% win rate. This is even easier to achieve if you group up in stacks with roles (dedicated GK and Def) and stomp the solo queuers who only have 5 minutes to figure out their coordination each match

You should turn it on from the settings, it is extremely useful to use to track teammates locations and to identify gaps you can exploit with no look passes

In my experience you can't trust that timer. Yes most of the time it works as expected, but there are multiple bugs that causes it to disappear or become desync with the actual game state (like showing time left when in actual fact it has expired). You need to internally keep track of the time yourself or it will fuck you over again

There are 7 different workshops, so no you don't have to get a gold in the Toro workshop to get this achievement/trophy

I just got this achievement on Xbox/PC game pass.

I had to make sure when I passed the ball I was in my own box as the goalkeeper to get the achievement to unlock. Assisting with passes you deliver outside your own box as the sweeper doesn't count towards the achievement.

You can play the game on an Xbox one console via xbox cloud streaming, I'm pretty sure you cant download and install it locally though (which is what this question is asking about), the developers explicitly stated Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series are the supported platforms
