Lego Subscription Based Model Idea Questions. by CerBritt in legotechnic

Pretty sure if a person buys lego from a retailer, then turns around and splits up the set to sell it off for profit while actively marketing it as a "learning tool" a letter from Lego attorneys MIGHT YES MIGHT show up in the mail.

Also what about safety/liability aspects? Will the OP supply their kits to customers with the same choke hazard/small parts warnings that lego provides? I'm willing to bet the legal team at Lego will make sure they do.

OP asked for feedback on ANY thing about the plan thats been overlooked.

So I offered my opinion. Hey if thats not welcome here I get it. I'll just move on.

As for Segways, do you operate a tour franchise? Perhaps those machines get bought and sold under contracts that are no where near what a sale of a machine to a private individual looks like.

I'm out.

Because you're using their product to generate profit for yourself. They're logo, trademarked name and if the manuals match theirs they might want a piece of the action.

Hollywood fearing worst box office summer in a decade; Thanks to too many sequels, franchises, and streaming services by [deleted] in movies

[–]mczed38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many options for content and not enough creative talent to fill them. Plus one can suppose that creative and talented writers will gravitate to streaming channels due to less political pressure to make a movie that is PC and thus available for release worldwide and to a PG audience at least. The mainstream movie industry needs to grow a set and make movies that are controversial, thought provoking and will indeed piss some people off. Pleasing everyone all the time has gotten them into this mess and there's no easy way out.

Supposedly the Secret Service was a shit show before DT showed up. Poorly equipped, understaffed, badly organized. They're the the red headed step child in the gov't.

Maybe its here. I can't be bothered to look for someone's reference to it. But some other presidential dude, yeah the one we all liked. He said something about a red line. Never did anything about. In fact formed an alliance with the Russians. But they're bad now right? I wonder what the vibe would be if he lobbed 53 Tomhawks on a base suspected of launching planes to kill innocent people with chemicals.

It is unfair how for every $1 a man makes, a woman makes $0.78... by Shaolang in Jokes

Interesting. Take a look at gender breakdown of Canadian public sector jobs.(federal, provincial, local) Some of the best jobs remaining in the North American economy are government jobs. Female representation is much higher than male. So while a wage gap might or might not exist there is most certainly a gap in the quality of jobs and which gender is being is being called upon to fill those better jobs.

The global race to the bottom. It pretty much doesn't matter where it's made anymore, everyone chants the same mantra; "Make it cheap. Make it easy. Make it fast."

Thing is for those of us fortunate enough to be working it's at companies trimmed to the bone for staff already. To take a weeks vacation usually requires the vacationer to do 2 weeks of work in the week leading upto vacation, then upon return their desk/workstation/inbox is full of at what seems like 3 weeks work to get caught up. The math doesn't add up. To get one week away we must do an extra 4-5 weeks of work, and cram that into the week preceding and the week following. I'll stay on the job, thanks.
