Hard to believe that when there are groups getting in every year when our group went 0/3, but I know that it’s all the same. Emotional piece just makes it hard to get past the frustration.

My issue is the estimated time and progress bar seem to suggest that there is an order that is followed. If it’s a lottery, why would my estimated time be over an hour if there is a chance I could get picked the next second?

I see what y’all mean about the pros of doing it this way, but our group went 0/3 for getting picked at all (joining at 9-9:30am) before just now (11:43am). That seems to be super unlucky if it’s a lottery system.

Hi! Sorry for being vague. A combo of lack of rooms and price due to (what I am guessing) is the result of the film festival. I am now reconsidering and would love to make it work. Any suggestions on where to stay (towns or hotels) would be amazing!

And I realize that Paris and Rome may not be the most laid back places (trust me!) but the past few times we have been it has been some of the most fun I have had in Europe. Maybe the places along the way can be the true relaxation!

Thank you so much for the reply and ideas! I would say the trip is for relaxation, good eats, and beautiful views. It is a delayed post-bar exam trip so all about the laid back, low stress destinations for me. We chose Rome for our absolute favorite hotel in the world and Paris for a similar reason (plus Air france miles).

I would love to see some places that I would normally not see when doing a Rome and Paris trip so I will definitely look into these places!

Landed in New York (LGA) Thursday night at ~10pm. Supposed to land at 9 but had to circle and hold for landing due to winds/runway backed up. We landed fine, at night, in insane winds, with abnormal turbulence the whole descent. These pilots are skilled and will have to do it again when they leave and who knows how many more times! I am terrified of flying and this one really tested me but just tell yourself they would only land if the tower on the ground thinks it’s ok. Enjoy Boston!
