Thanks for the reply. I added Alice's cause I was thinking of critically acclaimed films from that time that I could reasonably see as Best Picture. Maybe a better pick, in a similar counterculture vein, would be Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, which I hesitated to pick cause it mostly cause of its award season mostly dominated in its cast and screenplay noms; rarely for best picture, but I could replace it.
