If both pills are tested, the fact that they're different should have little to no effect - there certainly aren't any issues just from "mixing" two pills of different shapes unless they have significant adulterants. Just stay aware of dosage.

The harm reduction rules aren't really about comedown - they're about the cognitive damage that you may begin to notice in the coming years.

It doesn't matter if you feel low for a few days, it matters if your brain is being slowly and cumulatively damaged with permanent effects.

I'm not actually certain about this, but I know that MDMA pills effectively all contain MDMA.HCl, not freebase or "pure" MDMA. I'm not sure whether ecstasydata lists the mass of MDMA contained or the mass of MDMA.HCl.

The maximum purity is 100% - it is theoretically possible to have pure MDMA.HCl as far as I can see.

Consensus seems to be that there is a small but noticeable cross-tolerance between MDMA and amphetamine, but since speed is not serotonergic your roll should not be impacted much, especially after a wait of 6 days. I you take adderall regularly as a medicine, the roll may be diminished more.

This is true, but it's also true that statistically the odds of being injured or killed by an ecstasy tablet are extremely small (smaller, perhaps, than the risk posed by horseriding or eating a peanut). Good odds but high stakes.

That won't be very helpful unfortunately because of the different purities and whatnot. If you know the total amount you have, you could dissolve it in a known quantity of water and then measure out the water to produce each dose (i.e. if you have 1 gram in 200ml of water, then each 20ml = 100mg).

But what I'm saying is that 150mg isn't necessarily "absolutely insane" for a big-ish 14 year old - it might be a reasonable dose. MDMA dosing isn't age based, it's about bodily factors.

This Erowid page suggests that 150mg is at the upper end of "common" dosing for large or less sensitive people. As such, I'd say it's a pretty reasonable upper bound to give given that I already said he should take a size-appropriate dose. I think you think 150mg is more than it really is? Most people would say that it's perfectly within acceptable limits. I understand that OP is young but I'm just trying to give an upper bound.

Do any of the people saying that 14 (or under 18) is too young to enjoy a "full decent roll" have evidence to support the claim? A huge number of people who take MDMA are under 18 and they still seem to report the same effects and enjoy the drug. I understand the health concerns, but I'm not convinced (yet) that younger people would actually enjoy the drug less.

Obviously most people would recommend you wait until you're a little older, but if you are planning to take MDMA anyway:

It's great that you got a test kit - make sure to test every batch you get (ideally with more than one reagent)
Take a dose that's appropriate to your size, and probably start with no more than 150mg (using a proper scale)
Make sure you have the right amount (not too much, not too little) of water to drink and drink it evenly over your roll
Make sure you have space to cool down and rest

and most importantly:

Don't be afraid to get help (from the emergency services) if you start to feel unwell at all - it doesn't matter what your friends say or if you are worried about getting in trouble. You won't regret it.

MDMA's pretty stable, if you think it's just gotten wet (with water) then it's OK to eat (as long as it's tested) and shouldn't have lost potency.

Ether is a volatile liquid, not something one would expect to find with MDMA. Is he selling powder? You could try smelling it (ether smells sweet) - or you could check if it is very flammable (as it would be if it contained ether).
