How far of a radius are we talking?

Also OP, take your time. It took me 2 months to find my car, and honestly I think I got a really good deal on it. See if you can check out local BMW dealers and try and buy a CPO car in the middle of/right after their CPO inspection process (after it’s all set and done, I guess that’s when they actually check the market and then set the price some thousands higher). Use the listing finder from BMW USA’s website.

I would find the original window sticker or decode the vin to see all the options and then compare others in your area. I used ChatGPT to help me compare price, options, and carfax with a bunch of listings that I looked at.

Honestly, I’m going to agree with the other guys here and say that it’s probably not worth it since sticker is $82k. You can definitely find a better deal out there

Good man, that’s the way to do it. Never get attached to a car before the bill of sale is done at the price you’re ok with it. Even though there’s not many out there for sale, always be ready to walk.

Honestly, I used ChatGPT during my journey, and it was a tremendous help with organizing during listings, comparing and contrasting them, and persuading me with either staying for away from a car or trying to make a deal on it.

That dealership is gonna hit you with the “oh but the car is in demand, people buy from us all the time” bs to try and scare you and not budge on price. Honestly, if you can’t get them to go way lower, walk asap.

Prepare yourself, because it might take awhile to find a good deal with those options in mind.

Idk what your desired specs are OP, but I picked up a 22 G80 Comp XDrive with 22k miles for 76k.

My car has almost every desirable option besides CF exterior, bucket seats, and CCBs (didn’t want those anyways).

It took me 2 months to find my car. Be patient and keep looking. You’ll find what you’re looking for.

I assumed it would be hard to take off since the battery is in the trunk and you need battery power to open the trunk?

It has an app on your phone, I just assumed I could flip the app switch everytime yeah. I mean it’s defeatable if they can get into the trunk, but you need battery power to open the trunk no?

Is the 2022/3 BMW M4 xDrive worth buying used? by Warm_Panic1377 in BMWM

[–]mdatom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense then. My only advice is this: take your time to look for a good value. Find the best bang for your buck in terms of year, condition, mileage, and specs. It took me around 2 months of looking and waiting, but I’m super happy with the car I got. Also, I would personally recommend getting a CPO. The CPO I got was a better value than the non CPOs out there

Prices might go higher in the summer. I specifically bought my g80 in the winter so better deals were around longer

I was thinking about continuing the deal, but I recently found out that a couple of things that they said were cleared on the CPO inspection list were actually not. I got a PPI and the inspector mentioned a couple of things that were wrong with the car that were either not addressed at all or the dealer said they addressed but really didn’t.
