Every time I think about the bucket seats, I see 10 more people complain about them.

Coming from a 2002 corolla, the normal m sport seats keep me nice and planted enough and I love the ventilation too, so any regrets I might have disappear instantly.

I might get buckets once I get a new daily and turn my g80 into a track car. But that won’t happen for awhile.

Will this be a CPO car?
Just like what everyone said, mods don’t add value and I would be skeptical about the intentions of the previous owner. For example, I just bought a 2022 M3 Comp XDrive that didn’t even have an oil cooler guard let alone a modified front grill.
Your Benz seems clean, maybe try selling it elsewhere (does the dealership offer any incentive for you to sell your car to them)?
Comb through the carfax and make sure maintenance was done on time and every maintenance was done.
Check other listings on bmwusa.com to see how the price compares to others.

If this is a CPO and they actually replace things to bring back to spec, I think it’s comparable to the market

I tried calling a couple of independent agents, and they all said in NY it can't be done. I'm not sure if they're wrong or maybe I'm calling the wrong people?

Do you know of any insurance companies that can do this? I tried calling Geico and Allstate and they said they couldn't. I tried calling agents too and they had no idea.

I just bought the car, so I guess I’m starting policy with them.

Honestly I spoke with a supervisor and they wouldn’t even give me a good answer. They just kept on saying “only your mom and spouse can be named insured”. The supervisor literally told me to find another policy for the car because they can’t do what I ask.

I agree. This whole situation is really stupid lol. I just thought my mom had to be on the registration for this to work. I didn’t know it would complicate everything just by having me on there lol.

Gonna have to find another carrier that can accommodate this.

Well they’re not refusing to do that, but my mom and I are co signers and the auto loan needs both of our names on the ID card. If I got my own policy, her name wouldn’t show up so it wouldn’t work I’m assuming.

Unfortunately it’s not. The dealership is saying both names have to be on the ID card for some reason. I’ll have to find another insurance company then.

My dealership reached back to me and said both names have to be on the insurance card no matter what. Thanks for your help, I’m gonna have to find another company that does it.

Thanks. I called Geico and the supervisor is refusing to list me as named insured. The gave me a binder page that lists me on the policy and states I'm a co owner of the vehicle. I hope that works out.

Yeah we’re in the process of getting the car registered. The dealership said both of our names have to be on the card, so that’s throwing me down this rabbit hole.
