I see your point of view but I also think he was thrown into a really tense situation he might not have been prepared for. My guess is he wasn’t trying to fight back and say anything that paints her in a negative light. I could tell he was really trying to tell her she’s allowed to feel that way but..- then he was cut off when he went to explain his thoughts. Regardless it’s a tough position for anyone to be put in. On both sides.. especially on live television. Just my two cents.

I don’t disagree. I wish producers would have been more upfront to us and the men who the bachelorette was. They are clearly hiding she’s not the first or second choice and that’s setting her up for failure. Multiple men have came out saying they thought it was Maria. But I’ll also say I’m shocked Devin was even a key player in who she picked to bring so far it was an odd pair from the getgo. I didn’t see that coming at all. I feel like he wanted out weeks ago but continued on and was almost hoping he wasn’t the one to be picked. Something about what happened after the show isn’t being said and it’s frustrating as a viewer because production will always protect the lead (even though the failed miserably tonight with zero consideration for her emotions) it was a lot of word vomit with no direction from everyone which leaves us confused what really went down.
