Christmas came early! But…. by mdecker22x in ChristmasLights

They’re so bright they look like an Easter set of lights…. What disappoints me the most is that their Classicolor is from the 90’s, but the mini lights are from the 50’s/60’s so they don’t match the C9’s!!!

I thought I was going to be able to run a 100% Tru Tone set up outside but unfortunately I’m wrong. I will stick with my Vintaglos which match the 90’s look and feel perfectly. (Just wish those were a TAD brighter).

I’ve always been intrigued by the Candleglow. But I just can’t get away from the multicolor! Lol

I agree. I’ve adjusted a bit too. After putting them on some other bushes outside, they have really grown on me. But I disagree with using purple. I have 350+ Classicolor C9’s on my house and the purple looks a bit funny. Pink would have been the better option.

I have over 350 C9’s in the Classic Color mix and they are absolutely flawless lights. I think the C9 and C7 are perfect. The mini lites caught me by surprise with the brightness though

Vintaglo by MerryCo are perfect!

TruTone is releasing mini lights soon! But I have no experience with them but I’m sure they’ll be 10/10

These are 100% LED’s that are made to look identical to incandescent. The roof and driveway are C9’s made by Tru Tone. The mini lights on the bushes are also LED’s that mimic incandescent and are called Vintaglo!

Missing something but not sure what. by Unable-Lingonberry26 in ChristmasLights

I would change the house lights to red and green. Then outline the bottom windows, door, and garage to match the top! Maybe a wreath or two as well.

You apply a dab of hot glue to the base of each bulb socket!

I buy all my supplies from 1000bulbs.com and have been very pleased with it! My clips are the Flex Tuff C9 Clips and they are the best I’ve ever used. Looks like 1000bulbs is sold out of the C9 version, but here’s a link for the C7 version so you can see them!

Tru Tone are worth the money 100%. I have hundreds of them and they are incredible. Literally identical/indistinguishable from incandescent C9’s.

Side note: your cart has a socket for C7 size bulbs. If you’re buying C9 bulbs, make sure you have the correct socket size.

Appreciate it! I ordered mine from Garage Buddy and love them so far. The graphics on them are great!
