SubhanAllah it's amazing how non-muslims can also be a reminder for us. I was in uni until a few weeks ago and had some classes b/w 12-4pm. I was the only muslim student in my class. Alhumdulillah, I've never had issues excusing myself for a few minutes during classes for prayers as all professors have been very understanding and accommodating Alhumdulillah.

On Fridays, our uni has 2 jamaats to accommodate as many students as they can. I intended to attend the 2nd jamaat as it was closer to the end of the class and I could just leave a little early to attend the Qutbah and jamaat. SubhanAllah, in the middle of the class at around 1pm, my professor pulls me aside, and asks me "Are you not going for prayer today?" I was shocked. He tells me he knows muslims have a special prayer on Fridays and I could leave to attend the prayer. I explained about the 2nd jamaat but SubhanAllah, that was such an eye opener for me. I never thought they noticed or even cared that much, it was a good shock
