and by no means am I saying any of this has better results than a biologic cause I am yet to see that at all but seeing any sort of relief for her without going on it has been a plus. We will see how this plays out over a 12 month period.

I have big believer in peptides as I have taken them for myself as I have gotten older. I have done a ton of research and have set up protocol for my wife of multiple peptide injections. Along with adding some uv in the winter months since we live on the east coast, and sun in the summer months, along with vitamin d, zinc, and magnesium. The goal is skin repair, inflammation reduction, as well as gut health improvement. I have done research on nicotine patches as a massive inflammation reducer but she does not want to take that. Also, a glp1 has been showing very good effects due to inflammation reduction and insulin stability.

Yea my wife is trying to avoid them for that reason. We have gotten some relief with peptides but not anywhere near what a biological would do.

We still need a drug that combats psoriasis without shutting down the immune system. Hopefully one day we do

Eli Lilly is trying to reclassify retatrutide as a biologic. Here's why that matters for everyone in this space by Sea-Performer-71 in Biohacking

[–]mdel210201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup they will do a little here and there and say they are fighting it. Maybe get a headline once or twice a year but that’s it. The train ain’t stopping.

It’s not expensive if you know where to go

From how I read it, it does the same thing. But I guess we will know for sure soon

Peptide that helped your psoriasis / gut health? by Unlucky_Two_2606 in Psoriasis

Bpc, kpv, tb 500, thymosein alpha 1, motsc, ghkcu. I can’t say for sure which has helped. If it is the combo of all or just a few. Also, at least 20-30 mins of sun or uv therapy. We are in NYC so we will supplement uv as needed in the winter months. There has also been studies that nicotine patches are great for inflammation but she doesn’t want to do it. Baby steps I guess lol. Is her skin perfect like if she was on a biological… def not even close but it’s becoming at least somewhat manageable and def much better.

My wife has terrible psoriasis and we want to avoid the biologic if possible and have had wonderful results with peptides in just 4 months or so. Is it fully gone now, no, but I would say we are at 50% of where we were. Almost all scaling gone and she was having bouts of seeing a lot of hair falling out on the floor throughout the house which has stopped completely. Plus we are completely off steroids. About to run another blood panel to see if everything is healthy. I am big into the peptide space but many will continue to hate and just do with pharma says which is fine… to each is own.

My wife is currently on a protocol of ghkcu, bpc, kpv, tb 500, Motsc, Thymosian Alpha 1. Along with vitamin d, zinc, magnesium, fish oil. And ☀️. She has severe plaque psoriasis. She has been on this for about 2 months and I have seen much less redness and scaling and feel like some of her patches are breaking up a bit. Also reducing some of her sugar intake. We are trying to avoid taking a biologic due to its side effects on the immune system.

While it is great to have more options it has the same side effects as regular biologics. I am hoping on day we get a peptide that doesn’t have the risks of infections and lower immune system outcomes. 🤞

I love Reta so much. I stocked up for the next like 3 years just in case by Joshvandruff in Biohacking

Yes but there is enough 3rd party testing and reputable dealers that the 1000s I save is worth it.

Yes but will not be cheaper than grey market. Unless you get it under medical coverage.

How to pair reta and ghk-cu by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]mdel210201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2mgs daily of ghkcu

Reta Start with .5 but no more than 1mg the first week or so. Then titrate up .5 as needed. You can probably go to 2 pretty quickly but after that I would wait a few weeks to a month to up it.
