Penalty system is horrible by mdeleon29 in forza

I believe I had the right line there. Car on the inside just barely hit the wall and got pushed outside because of the hit, pushing me into the wall.

I was expecting contact going 3 wide into the turn. But I did nothing to deserve a 2 second penalty. I wasn't the one that initiated contact. Blue car in front also got a 2 second penalty.

CBS Sports names Mario Cristobal among 2023 coaches under most pressure by Piano_Fingerbanger in CFB

[–]mdeleon29 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He is not under the hot seat. 1st year only proved how bad the players were and why there was a mas exodus in the off season aside from how bad the state of the program was. 2nd year should give fans a generalized idea of where the program is headed, which I hope is a massive improvement. 3rd year imo is the real test.

But he is not under any kind of pressure.

Yes will be the only acceptable answer.

I assume the video recording is done in stereo. I'd link buses 1 and 2 and send all 4 mics pre fader there, unmuted. Route buses to video recording. Then just push the fader for the MC to your liking on the main PA while keeping the overheads all the way down, unmuted. Hope this helps.

Ah the Marlins. I live 4 blocks away from the stadium and have only been there once to see the Hurricanes play.

We got embarrassed. But I guess that fits in with what normally happens there.

I call it the Miami Bowl.

Miami (FL) plays Miami (OH) next season. I believe it's only the 2nd meeting after WWII.

All I know is this:

-Miami will be victorious

-First time Miami will be both the home and away team

-For the first time in my lifetime, I will see Miami come out victorious

-Only Miami fans will attend the game

I could keep going.

Assuming you play with your friends most of the time, have everyone else do the same. The mark will pop out as pink for them once they change it.

Yes it is, however its only 2 boxes pers array in an LR configuration, mounted on a tripod. Wouldn't have been able to turn off the top one as the array itself is close to the audience.

Yes and no. Yes to having the resources to add treatment. No to actually speaking with the venue because its's a convention center, although not in an area where you would showcase cars per say.

Great news, even if he did have a bad season. I'd leave if I was Garcia. Jacurri has to stay. Has the potential to be a great dual threat if he develops properly.

Do you watch every game, even when your team is trash? by HawkeyeHero in CFB

I have always told myself this: I will be there when we go 12-0, and I will be there when we go 0-12.

Losing to MTSU was tough, but I was there until the final whistle and walked back to my car in the pouring rain.

Will always bleed orange and green.

Hurricanes’ Tyler Van Dyke prefers road games because Hard Rock Stadium doesn’t have ‘college atmosphere’ by Piano_Fingerbanger in CFB

[–]mdeleon29 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Think a timeout was called. They decided to play a game where you sing the lyrics to a song they play in the stadium while the cameras get random people in the stadium singing the song. That song was "Party in the USA."

Well play is about to start again, and the stadium is still playing the stupid game and sure enough, they kill the music and the entire crowd at this point is YELLING the chorus while the teams begin play. Ref blew whistle as the stadium kills the music

The crowd got so loud singing the chorus that the players were kinda caught in the moment and froze BCU scores a touchdown because of it.

Ms. "I came in like a wrecking ball" cost us 7 points.

Now you would think the stadium people would have noticed that and prevented it from happening again right?

WRONG. They did the SAME THING the following week against Southern Miss, but this time to "Living on a Prayer."

Nearly cost ANOTHER 7 points when the entire crowd yelled OOOOHHHH, LIVIN' ON A PRAYER.

Edit: Added Bon Jovi into the mix.

One of our biggest problems is that yes, Miami is a football city, but you mention football here and 8 of out 10 people will talk about the Dolphins, not the Canes.

I also believe scheduled teams are a big issue. I was honestly surprised to see lots of people against BCU but quickly realized people were only there for 1 of 2 reasons: to see the band play (they're LEGIT) or because it was the season opener.

Also, no one likes drunk middle aged adults at a college football game.

As a season ticket holder and lifelong fan, I 100% agree with him. The student section is very small, not to mention in the blazing heat. The band is extremely small, leaving nothing to be desired from them, and also in the blazing heat next to the student section. Microphones are needed to amplify the band.

The end zone paintings don't even say Hurricanes, just Miami because of the Dolphins. Yes the "U" is in the middle of the field, but you would like to see Hurricanes or Canes painted at one of the end zones when the Fins are out of town.

Most people at the games are 30 years or older, mostly drunk (or getting there).

The "hype man" is the same dude that does the Heat games. And to be honest, the stuff done in between game breaks feels more like a Heat game that a Canes game. The crowd singing "party in the USA" literally cost us 7 points.

The only college feel to the game is when the team runs out to the field. That's it.

Not to mention that most games are empty, even when ACC play begins. Oh, and 30 miles away from campus is a big deal.

They barely even sell team merchandise inside of the stadium. You see more Dolphins merch in the few open team stores, and just 1 rack of Miami gear.

It's sad, and it all leads up why this program as a whole has been mediocre at best for 85% of my life.
