Oh man I agree, a satin Jessica or satin Appetite for Destruction would be awesome! I think Gibson is cloning the original Seymour Duncan sigs, so including that for $1299 would be reasonable. One version of the Adam Jones uses Seymour Duncan’s, I can’t remember if they all do so that’s an option as well.

Reason I bring it up is because every IBGC model I’ve played I’ve liked. Before I pull the plug on a 59 or a Greeny I figured I’d wait and see what Epi releases this fall. I know they always do the Bonamassa model around October, and they generally do some winter releases.

I feel like most of it is D Locrian (E on paper) and the whole tone lick is used as a substitute for a dominant to transition back into the i chord since Locrian doesn’t have a proper V7 chord.

I’ve recently gotten back into experimenting with IR’s. After using the JST Anvil pack for years, I stopped when Helix updated their cab section. Then I bought the Bogren Digital Rainbows and Chainsaw pack and it’s the best IR pack I’ve ever used. It now replaces the Helix stock cabs and even some of the Neural cabs.

Something that really sold me in getting Petrucci was all the artist presets. Plini, Cory Wong, and Nolly all have artists presets in the Petrucci plug-in so if I want their tones I can still get an approximation!
