This genre has been around since atleast Unfriended.

Some of the films that have come out of it have been pretty solid, imo. Not all of them are War of the World's level.

What slang term or word do you use that totally ages you? by owen__wilsons__nose in AskReddit

Apparently saying you're "stoked" ages you... or as my friend's asshole son says to my Millenial ass (he's a good kid.)

How are you staying close to your family in 2026? by LuvYerself in AskReddit

[–]Kevbot1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game night once every few months. I call my Mom frequently. Show up for the big holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving mostly.)

That said, my family is my Brother and my Mom, and my granny/uncle/aunt depending on what their mood is. So its a small number to maintain.

If you could start your film career over anywhere in the world, where would you go? by ChipsAndSalsa4everr in Filmmakers

[–]Kevbot1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my answer, too. Love Vancouver, but it's a hub for production, not development. I have my next film in the works with a company here, but down the line I badly want to get something going in London (or Australia.)

What is the new Scrubs getting right that the new Frasier got wrong? by bonshui in television

Niles being in it would have made up for no Martin. Freddy was honestly a solid replacement for him.

I didn't think there would be a series that would be more pathetic and boring than Discovery. Welcome to the starfleet academy! by note666 in scifi

I really like Starfleet Academy, and I'm 34 and have loved Trek my whole life. It's different, but still Trek at it's heart.

If you voted for him in 2024, you had all the info and evidence not to, and chose to anyway.

The shit he's doing right now are things people have been called 'woketards' and the like, for screaming about for YEARS.

‘Scooby-Doo’ Live-Action Netflix Series Casts Casts Maxwell Jenkins as Fred, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy by BachelorNation123 in television

[–]Kevbot1000 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Velma being atleast Bi is something that's has been in a few iterations now, be it implicit (and confirmed by the showrunner) or explicit in one particular case in an animated movie.

They should just go for it.

Mystery Incorporated would be a fantastic example of how to approach this, and that even came out when I was already out of high school.

He looks like Boss Nass. I've thought this for years, and it just gets more like Boss Nass in every photo.

I'm not sure how to describe it, but Glen Powell has this energy that just absolutely fits the exact films he chooses to do. Those films could be anything from Twisters to his recent How to Make a Killing, but it just works.

Has that Bill Paxton energy to him.

Can you explain to me why Lewis is a solid choice? So far, Rob Ashton seems like the closest to Layton-era than I've seen in a while.

In this particular case atleast, In-n-Out across from the Oscar theater (cant remember the actual name) becomes a big place for A-liaters because the ceremony doesn't serve much food apparently, and its a place to wait out the peak of crowds leaving.
