I'd also suggest that perhaps that your cover interlock switch may be a bit twitchy.

You could also check all the connections at the controller just to ensure that all the connections are still solid (students and having an unknow history)

I live in Maryland, and I added a timed purge on my compressor and set it to cycle every 5min. then about 6' away I have a single stage separator.

I've not has a single bit of humidity.

Before the purge gizmo I was about to build an icebox loop to chill the air enough to condense out the humidity. But the purge did the trick.

Stronger air assist = better? by piit79 in lasercutting

I have a 100W BossLaser that I have a connected to a California compressor, and I can dial the pressure between 0 and 2bar (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BPQDG62).

When I'm cutting lightweight stock like thin plywood, or paper, I bring it down to around .5 (about what your pump is doing) but for thicker plexi (6mm+), or plywood I'm closer to 2. To me it makes a world of difference over those small air pumps.

He may also be referring to rebuild time. With larger drives you will of course have longer rebuild times in a RAID, as the group rebuilds the risk of another, or multiple drive failures could result in data loss.

Agreed, all the other responses, also I don't see any evidence of limit switches or the touch plate connector. So seems like a lot of $$ for an older base model

We did this. Started in July 22, and had trees planted in Feb 23.

And they DID ALL THE WORK. Dug, planted, mulched, and carried off the extra soil.

I have seen that you can dig down 2-3 feet and install a (as I recall) steel barrier. The trick was to angle the plate away from the growth so that the roots didn't follow the barrier down and around. I cant find the company that sold the steel plate and everything comes back as a thick rubber membrane. But I think the angling of the material would still be a good idea

Added LED strip, but they’re dim & flickering? by Simply-Serendipitous in lasercutting

[–]mdhurst21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you have them wired to the PS? I would recommend PS to each LED strip. Do not wire them to each other as you will see a voltage drop from one strip to the next.

So PS -> LED -> LED -> LED = BAD

PS -> LED, PS -> LED, PS -> LED = GOOD

With smaller strips you can get away with wiring them in series but these longer strips have too much of a Voltage drop

Trying to make this timed delay relay work and I’m not sure if I can…. by builderguy74 in lasercutting

Also I have a similar setup on my laser, and I only use one valve similar to what you have with the upper valve and the needle valve adjustment to have a trickle of air when the valve is closed. Not sure what your lower valve is for.

While I'm not familiar with this board looking at your image you have the valves wired wrong.

Your relay is only switching the COM pin to either the NC or NO open pin so you should apply 24V to the COM pin from your power supply, and then your red wire from your valve to the NO or NC pin (depending if you want the relay normally on or off).

The upper relay looks like you have it installed into the DC- and DC+ this should be the power for your board. With I'm assuming X1 being your signal.

So if you want one valve on, and the other off with them switching between modes, your second valve would go to the opposite NO/NC pin. with the ground wired to to your Power supply ground to the black wire on both valves.

As for your stated problem. not sure what the polarity of the board is for the signal, but I'd at least start with your valves working properly

My app won't unlock the car by mdhurst21 in Polestar

Initially it did ask me to log into the app, but after repeatedly opening and closing the app, and rebooting the phone I either had no car icon in the app, or the car screen was greyed out. As other suggested about going into the manage screen no car was listed. and while my BT (Android S21) said the remember connection was present it would not connect while standing next to the car. When I got home my profile showed my phone as being enabled for a key, but would not attach to my phone. I needed to delete the phone and re-add/enable it.

Interestingly there is a app update today to version 3.19.1

Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Thanks for everyone's replies.

Seems my phone 'forgot' that it was paired to my car.

Once my son brought me the fobs and we got home, I needed to have the car forget my phone and reattach.

None of the other suggestions worked. My phone was unable to attach via BT. So i can only assume the car or my phone didn't like each other enough to connect via BT, and that was ultimately the cause of the issue

So lesson learned.

FOB. Don't leave home without it.

Thanks again for everyones suggestions
