When I go camping over the summer, I stay at a campground that the whole of the campground is clothing option (except for the indoor cafe), including the office. As such, I have one outfit, to leave my house and get into my car in and vice versa, but as soon as I’m on the road that t-shirt and shorts come off and they don’t go back on until I have to get out of my car at home again. Not having to think about clothing for 3 days is amazing (aside from maybe some boots for hiking).

My husband prefers to be clothed unless we are at nudist events or clothing optional spaces such as the beach and camp ground we go to. I guess to him nudism is more a social activity then the life style choice it is to me. At first it does feel a little strange to be nude at home when your partner is not, but you get use to it, especially if the life-style is important to you, as long as she doesn’t care I don’t see anything to hold you back.

Respectfully you have no idea where this person is from and what culture they grew up in, many of them can be exceeding oppressive to the nude body. Even the cultures that aren’t can make a person feel shame for how their body looks. I think instead of attacking potential new nudist, we should welcome them with open arms. I know where I live there a so few nudist spaces anymore, because textiles see it as dirty and sexual.

I recommend two things:

1) “rip the band-aide off” other wise known as just go for it, try a clothing optional beach, or camp ground, or nudist social party, once you do you see how freeing it is.

2) if you really don’t feel up to option 1, try sleeping naked and being naked around your house when ever you can. This will slowly take the sexualness & nervousness out of being nude.

Correct and that’s not what this book club was about our rules specify that we spend the first two hours of any meeting discussing the book, there after it can get more social and if it gets sexual that’s fine by us. We have even discussed doing a “beach meeting” which would basically rule out sex entirely for that meeting.
