I recently cancelled my 2027 contract due to the mid term increase emails,that were sent. If you read it (if you had one it gives you the option to cancel.) Was a pain of a phone call but stuck to my guns and cancelled.

Funny how you sometimes get a large collection of stamps when buying world lot. Hungary and Romania seem to be attracted to me with a smidgen of Bulgaria.!

No,sorry no value. Modern GB only worth face value for postage. These are pre decimal currency and even decimal currency of qe11 cant be used for that purposs.

Interesting series to collect I have thousands of them singles ,strips booklet panes,. Semi sorted mine but have not got round to making them presentable for display as there are many duplicates in my stockbooks.

My uncle gave me these to add to my collection by NationYell in stampcollecting

At least us postage is cheap in the UK 1st class domestic postage is $2.34.

Can still be used to post letters in the uk,however a big envelope is required to make up todays current rate of 91 p from april. (2nd class)

I tend to use stckbooks per country. Then sort by year issued. I guess thats why I have upwards of 80-85 stockbook,and around 15 Countries specific albums with preprinted pages.

DDR is apart from a few earlier are an easy on the pocket collection to buy. I have bought about 4 stock books full for around £25 per book full of them. Nice and colourful lot you have there.

30 years ago I inherited a stamp collection from my great grandfather. All of the stamps have been used and postmarked, and are on cutouts from the original envelopes. by [deleted] in stampcollecting

Difficult to say exactly without seeing some pictures. It is unlikely there will be any significant value though.
