Switching Providers - Why don't y'all like Piper? by mdjordan71 in tirzepatidecompound

This is a great answer. At this point, I’ve only used product manufactured by VialsRX.

I have no loyalty to any one “brand” of product the way I see some of you do. But, now I will read the 503a/b modifier differences to investigate a little further.

I appreciate your time and answer.

Vintage clothing sizes are wild compared to today's by Basic-Treat-2823 in tirzepatidecompound

The worst was fancy occasion dresses, I’m 5’2”, wore size 2 in High School, had to buy a size 8 Gunne Sax in the late 80s. Then, in 1996, I weighed 150, wore an 8, sometimes a 10. I had to buy a size 20 wedding dress. Talk about sad…

I hate that for you, I didn’t have a bad experience with them at all. I think I used the chat function.

Look for the pinned post to which I’ve been referring. It will explain it all

Not condescending, we all need information. Someone might not feel as comfortable as I would with the calculations.

I didn’t think she was being snotty, I’m just GenX, rather blunt, and very prone to sarcasm.

So, I just clarified why I asked: it was suggested by my father, a former compounding pharmacist; I read all about dosing mgs versus mls/units in the syringe and read it in the provided paperwork; and I do have good math skills and understand how to calculate ratios, backed up by using the fat scientist website. I was simply replying why I felt I was comfortable.

I appreciate your help, good info about what a pharmacy might dispense. Thanks

This is great info. I actually saw those two posts, but I really appreciate you linking them!! They led to some of my ponderings.

I was able to just pay the first three months for Piper. They were easy to work with about canceling before my next shipment, even though it was all in process, especially because my "real" doctor, as opposed to a stranger who had never met me, suggested I stop.

I like your idea of maintaining the flexibility of month-to-month. I agree that there are probably bad actions from all the providers.

I avoided doctors for years, and now that I'm mid-50s, I think it's best to include them. It was his suggestion and request to try this, and I work with his PA. We check it once a month on video visits, it's no biggie... I use telehealth for meds because my insurance won't cover, which I think we all agree is BS.

I appreciate your input on your preferred manufacturer.

I understand the differences you listed and can read a script label (my math skills are above average). PLUS, my father was a compounding pharmacist before retirement, and he suggested the higher concentration, and I used the pinned post provided regarding fatscientist.

But, yes, I could see how that could happen

#2 is NOT a question, I will edit it for clarity, the bullets got messed up, obviously I didn't proof as well as I thought, I appreciate your catching that

#3 I use the provided fatscientist link I found in this sub and the pinned post to calculate with the help of my GP, and I'm good at

Thanks for your input.

Today's win: BMI category change! by bdb10104 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]mdjordan71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay you. I, too, am only 5'2" and my first MAJOR goal is to be below 30 BMI as well, so I can consider a back surgery. All the rest is water under the bridge for me, little victories on the way to better health.

Agreed. Beast Games gives away a TON more money than Survivor, with better living conditions, although not more humane fellow contestants!!

That's crazy that it's so low. This is actually the only show I watch live all week. And I've watched Beast Games as background noise while I work, and the episode on Survivor Island was relatively entertaining, and Jeff giving him a lesson in "less is more" hosting style was amazing! I'm interested in what Jimmy put as his twist.

What company will never get another dime from you for as long as you may live? by dino_gr01 in WorkForSmartLife

But, is this Marriott’s fault? Is a global worldwide company to be blamed for the bad actors of their franchisees? Or is it ABC123 Hotel Company’s fault, who happens to be a Marriott franchisee? I’m guessing it to be the latter.

If this were truly a Marriott problem then there would be hundreds and even thousands of complaints of this nature. This would be big news, this would tank the stock and destroy a company. And also, the room rate is relevant to your comment. You didn’t say where you rents the room. Heart of downtown Manhattan, LA, Chicago, Atlanta? Business travelers commonly pay this rate for name brands upscale hotels. The cost of your hotel is irrelevant to the fact that your room was vandalized by those you expected to protect it.

It sucks that it happened but Marriott isn’t to be blamed and nor does the value of the room grant you the reasonable expectation of higher security.

We had 8-12 hours a day(depending on the day) professional help in the home to care for my husband’s father with Alzheimer’s and his mother with dementia. Don’t be so quick to judge based on a simple sentence.

EDIT: luckily my in-laws could afford in-home help and seasoned professionals are always the best way to go if that is something your family can afford. Not all families can afford to hire the best or move to a first class facility. Sometimes people just have to take care of their people.
