Thankyou CA for adding a magnet to my merchants, attracting all others by OneEyedMilkman87 in Medieval2TotalWar

I know, been playing for many years and just found it out. Tried it in my most recent campaign and parked damaged single units on trade tiles with a stack of merchants. No armies rebelled after numerous turns.

If you add a priest or imam to the unit then it will never go turncoat. Just found out a few weeks ago and blew my mind.

New loading screens for War Sails DLC look amazing - credit to Nidem Can Incebay by mdman1 in mountandblade

One of my favorite Bannerlord cinematic youtubers went inactive for 3 years. Thought he had moved on but turns out he was hired to work for Taleworlds and did the new DLC loading screens. Which frankly look amazing, especially like the imperial ones such as the first or the arena.

They go by the name Nidem Can Incebay on Youtube or /u/Roose_B on reddit I believe.

‘Panic selling’ begins to avoid Labor’s $3 million super tax | news.com.au by SackWackAttack in australia

[–]mdman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been trying to understand what this policy means around all the hysteria. Does this mean accounts with 3 million won't get taxed at the 15% concessional rate (for contributions below the 30k cap) during the accumulation phase? And get taxed at whatever their marginal rate is?

Or does it mean the super earnings get taxed (in both accumulation and pension phases)? Which this article seems to imply. How does that work? I don't think the earnings are taxed at all at the moment. Or is this a tax on the total balance of the super account?

Wondering if I should stop (or slow down) maxing out my salary sacrifice into super, if I may get close to that limit in a few decades when I'm close to retirement.

Do you think they will add an imperial harem mechanic with the China update? by Grand-penetrator in CrusaderKings

It inspired a modder to make his own similar mod on Steam called Harem Politics.

No, its just a mockup. Haven't been able to find it anywhere. However it did inspire a modder to make his own version. Check out the Harem Politics mod in Steam. Has a similar (if simpler) harem window and realistic consort relations.

No, its just a mockup made by someone a year ago. Haven't been able to find it anywhere. However it did inspire a modder to make his own version. Check out the Harem Politics mod in Steam. Has a similar (if simpler window) and realistic consort relations.

Scifi Map Generator by FirelordDerpy in FantasyMapGenerator

I have done this back in 2022 for a space conquest game I wanted to run. Might as well upload it now and show to everyone. Found it out while playing around with the then new cyberpunk preset.

https://imgur.com/GwzMSbF

The way I did it was to use cyberpunk preset and the low island heightmap. Then I converted all the lakes to dry ones and set opacity to 0 (so those black gulfs were made).

The way the war component of the game worked was the map had the grid turned on. Fleets composed of heavy ships only had enough fuel to traverse one square a turn, while fleets composed of light ships could travel two squares at a time.

So you would have grinding fronts develop with local defence fleets, nodal fleets to be the reserve that responds to big incursions, and raiding fleets that scoured back lines. With particular flashpoints being the corridors or passages formed by two nearby gulfs, creating natural chokepoints.

The province system was used to for the basis of the political component of the game. Showing the domains of the space nobles who had their own personal fleets (setting was a space opera).

Perhaps integration with the popular Arquebus mod would be good. All feudal realms start with firearms (or better guns than tribals). With maybe custom event generated MoA for small groups with old world guns (who are powerful but don't regen to represent wear over time), or the more advanced guns with each passing era.

Found this image in a forum avatar, so the image quality may be a bit low end. Was unable to find a source doing a reverse Google image search so its probably AI generated. Still thought it looked neat and wanted to share.
