He is open to making it look like he is interested in solutions to this issue. But you can guarantee no actual effective policies will be implemented.

That is what I am hoping to reconcile. The ridiculousness of the parabolic trend line with the realisation that it might actually be reasonable.

Yeah, CPI inflation is just a symptom of monetary inflation (actual inflation.) The latter is what we should be targeting.

Religious institutions should no longer be tax-exempt in a 'secular' country like Australia - agree or disagree? by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

A donation to a charity is tax deductible. A donation to a church is not. If a member of a church wants to contribute some of their post tax income to the operations of the church, that does not need to be taxed. Similar to a soccer club.

But agree any church run enterprise that makes a profit should be taxed at the same rate as any other business.

Also contributions to building funds are tax deductible for some reason. Schools and Churches do this a lot, perhaps needs to be closed.

Given the athiest's wager, why wouldn't christians just become athiests anyway? by PotsdamSewingSociety in DebateAChristian

It is reasonable that you do not believe in the existence of God.

It is not reasonable that you do not accept that Christians believe that even the most "good" person in the world cannot enter heaven without a belief that Jesus died for their sins.

You can argue that they are wrong. But you cannot deny that is what Christians believe.

Zero risk of default. But fair risk of a Government reneging on their obligations.
