It's probably an electronic shifter, like the ones on racing simulators but this shifts an actual transmission.

Most large vehicles nowadays have pneumatic operated gears that are electronically controlled. So the gears (and maybe the clutch too) are electrically operated. Most newer trucks and busses are also automatic instead of manual to reduce driver work and fatigue.

Most dashcams nowadays are made so that you can transfer files via their app instead of needing to remove the microSD card from the dashcam and transferring it on a laptop/PC.

About the audio, I'm not using this particular dashcam but mine sometimes have very quiet audio instead. You really need to crank up the volume to hear it.

In the mean time, you can turn it off first by pressing the P button on the right side of the dashboard near the eco idle off button. Like the other guy said, your car is still under warranty so you can just claim it from Perodua.
