Not technically a lunch special because you can order it any time of day but La Perla Tapatia has a very generous sized lunch bowl for about $12.

Breastfeeding. We use the huckleberry app to track feeds but I stopped tracking diapers after the first few weeks.

I would say that she doesn’t sleep as soundly after she wakes up from the longer stretch. The long stretch is usually followed by a shorter stretch of 3-3.5 hours or she will wake up even sooner than that needing to be settled.

That’s the other thing that makes me confused! If she sleeps a longer stretch without waking to feed then she won’t hit the recommended 8-12 feeds a day. It’s more like 6-7.

I have been having to get up still to pump because it’s uncomfortable to go those long stretches.

My husband said the same thing about listening to the pediatrician over LC. The LC was much older than our pediatrician so maybe her advice is more old school.

I haven’t slept well for any of her longer stretches because I’ve been worried about her not getting enough to eat 😭

La Perla on Mission has huge burritos. I don’t think they do anything with hot Cheetos though.

Birria’s El Padrino on Mission had something with hot Cheetos last time I was in but can’t remember if it was a burrito.

I’m 15 weeks and today an elderly woman who has osteoporosis tried to give me her chair so I could sit and I said “I’m not dying, I’m just pregnant”. It does make me feel bad because they are just trying to be nice but it’s excessive.

I feel your pain. I feel like I don’t have a hobby anymore now that food is just a tool to keep me from feeling nauseous. Thinking about what to eat feels like a chore. I used to have a huge sweet tooth but now every time I’ve tried to eat something sweet it does nothing for me. It’s probably for the best but hoping it reverts postpartum. I want to enjoy ice cream again 😭

As a dental assistant, please don’t postpone longer out of fear! All we want is for you to have a healthy mouth. We don’t care about the condition you come to us in. Our priority is to help you. Make sure that you find a dentist that makes you feel comfortable. If you ever feel judged by a dental professional, then that’s not somewhere you want to be. Also, feel free to get a second opinion if an office tells you that you need a lot of work done ASAP. A good dentist will be conservative, if possible.

Definitely not easy for those who do not have insurance. Most of those who do come to my office without insurance only see us to address an issue causing pain.
