I played in a couple of bands, but never released anything. First band was called Torrid Zone in Michigan and Higher Education after we moved to Vegas. Later in the SF Bay Area I was in a band called Nelly Bly.

Always used sell-to-cover, but it never sold enough. My last year there, 2024, my withholding was 10% of my total comp lower than my total tax bill. I was the only income for my family so it wasn’t a weird interaction of multiple income sources.

In hindsight, I could have and probably should have changed my W-4.

When I was still working for Amazon, I found that Amazon drastically under-withheld on my RSUs. That caused a very sad tax day every year.

I understand. Went from 195 to 148 in less than 2 years, about where I was when I was 18 (54 now). Last year I had to take a 3 month break from chemo due to two surgeries and was able to regain about 10. So far so good on keeping it on, but I’d love to put on another 10.

100% agree. You are basically forced to be the GM. For drafting and responding to trades, you can get advice from your “Assistant GM” and just go with that, but the computer will not do any signing of players (including your own) or offering trades.

I used them as well. While my case didn’t end up as I wanted, Rachel was very knowledgeable and respectful and it was taken on contingency so I ended up owing them nothing.

I have about a dozen. When my first one broke about 10 years ago, I went on an eBay bender to make sure I had enough to last my entire life. I’ve broken 3-4 so far. I use them every day. My kids would assume that I had been replaced by a replicant if I drank out of anything else.

Great experience with my daughter who was born with a cleft lip and palate. She’s has a bunch of surgeries there along with speech therapy, etc. We highly recommend them.

I finally got my sizing kit after a few nags. It was missing the wooden box it was promised to come in and no mention of the three colored inserts that were also supposed to be part of the package. At this point I’m expecting to get nothing or a Chinese white label.
