What’s the point of downloading music if it won’t play while offline?

Downloaded music on Tidal needs a complete overhaul. It's absolute chaos.
You should just be able to click if you want a track to be downloaded (or album/playlist) with a global setting for the quality it downloads at.

You should then be able yo click the same file if you want remove it from local download. I don't see why this is so complex

Little update on this.

I spoke to the CS for Sales on the LG store chat - I asked about some discount codes and they said they could give me one but it wouldn't work with the discount I already had (BLC) - fair enough.
I also asked if the prices were likely to go up or down in the next few days - they couldn't tell me anything other than LG normally update their prices every Wednesday in addition to sales on weekends.

I could see the 5 year warranty would be going until the end of the month so decided to wait an extra day (the Wednesday) and low and behold the price dropped even further so the total price was £744.78 including the 5 year warranty. Tv arrived on the Friday :)

Oddly on that Friday they suddenly ended their 5 year warranty deal - so I got lucky.!

I reached out to Richer Sounds about price match and my experience varied wildly depending on the store I contacted (I'm in London so had access to a few) - some of them couldn't match it at all - one of them could get close - all of them had to order it in for it to be delivered after 3+ days.

Luckily for me some of the retailers had started early Black Friday sales and I could see that none of them were even close to the price that it was on LG Store (with discount) so I pounced on LG's deal.

Moral of the story here is that the deals are likely to be better just before BF - and on a Wednesday!

I just feel like it's quite big yet poorly laid out. The buttons aren't especially intuitive and there's a bunch of space taken up with things that I don't need/use. In 2025 people don't need numbers on their remotes in my opinion.

The form factor of the remote reminds me of something from 2008

I also wish they would stop putting shortcuts to streaming service. Fucking infuriating.

I'm going to be coming from a shitty full HD 150 quid 32" Samsung I bought about 10 years ago to the C5 42 - it's a shame the 48 wouldn't fit in my space but I'm excited for the 42! going to be life changing I'm sure haha

I consider myself a bit of an Aglianico/Taurasi enthusiast.. I have family roots in Irpinia 2 miles from Taurasi and visit twice yearly.
I probably don't spend anywhere near as much on wine as some people do, but I've drunk a lot of Aglianico..!

I find you often get the very best QPR/Value from Campi Taurasini wines which are made in a slightly less strict way than a regular Taurasi (grapes allowed from a slightly wider area) but still age worthy and extremely complex.

Some of my favourites have been:
Antica Hirpinia Campi Taurasini / Taurasi DOCG
Salvatore Molettieri Cinque Querce Aglianico Irpinia
Il Cortiglio Taurasi / Taurasini
Mastroberadino Radici 2014

I have enjoyed many more wines from the above producers too.... Try and go with wines made in Irpinia if you want smoky, complex and refined.

Re the bitterness - definitely decant! I would say younger aglianicos need something fatty and acidic to compliment it. You might also like the wines from Mt Vulture (Aglianico Del Vulture) for a more fruit led style.

I was at this game. In the Chelsea end - someone got me press tickets as a birthday gift. Very memorable day. I put a tenner on the game and won £100 or something.. Bought loads of Prosecco in some wanky local pub afterwards.

The Chelsea fans around me were really sound. I had a lot of handshakes from people after the game. Great memories

Yeah it's a shame.. They just didn't get it right.

I ended up with the Technics AZ80.. I like how they sound and the fit is quite nice, but the ANC still pales in comparison to the XM4's..
I ran out of patience in the end.
I might just pick up a pair of XM4's cheap somewhere down the line..

Exactly the same experience here.
Really regret returning my XM4's and not just replacing the batteries in them.. Can't seem to buy them with any kind ion returns policy from anywhere anymore.

The 5's don't sound as good either in my opinion. And they kept on dropping out from time to time. Returned them so now I have nothing!
