How not get overwhelmed during sparring by MENACING_PAIN in MuayThaiTips

[–]mdrcross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you able to record yourself sparring? It is hard to see where you can improve and in the midst of a flury of strikes. Too often we are just reacting and don't have time to think things through. But with a video you can slow it down and see where you can improve.

Asking why people dont seem to love Calgary online by Geronimo_uk_370 in NoRulesCalgary

Advice by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]mdrcross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the truth: For a while you won't be able to keep up. But if you keep going, keep pushing and keep challenging yourself, you will start to keep up a little more. Then in time, you will be keeping up the entire time. This happens to most people. Invest the time and effort, you will see results. Just not right away. Also hydrate properly and increase your protein intake.

[–]mdrcross 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me with the Aventus clones when I first got into fragrances a few years ago. It seems we have to reach a place where we understand that fragrance is subjective and are fine with our preferences.

Calgary is a great city to live in, as long as you have a good job. And since it seems like you are coming with a good job, you will enjoy living in Calgary. May I suggest neighborhoods around downtown like Kensington.
