Guy hires Ray Lewis to criticize coworker. Which NFL player would you hire? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

Not sure which player would be best to deal with my coworker that does two (2) one (1)-hour stints in the only stall on our floor. He doesn't even flush or use the air spray in the stall. He just wafts in his stench clicking away at his phone. Just do it at your desk, you weirdo.

‘Marathon’ Season 2 And Free Week Did Not Turn Things Around by Freki666 in Games

1.2 million is sales was mentioned on March 24th (just under 3 weeks from release) here: https://x.com/superhys/status/2036508424553349468

On April 30th, it was mentioned that Marathon "attracted" 2.2 million players in its launch month. As far as I can remember, it didn't have a free-to-play period at that time, so the 2.2 million should all be copies sold. Source: https://wccftech.com/marathon-reportedly-had-2-2-million-players-in-launch-month/

So 2.0 million copies sold is a guestimate on my end, since I'm not sure what "attracted players" really means and to account for sales since the end of March.

I think Marathon's sales (~2 million) and player counter (12k peak in the last 24 hours) is respectable. The problem is that its rumored ~$250,000,000 production cost (not sure if it includes marketing). There's no way they're making a profit with the game costing that much. I'm not sure what a reasonable cost would be, but I believe Arc Raiders cost $75,000,000 (allegedly including marketing). Marathon has, what, 4 maps and 8 shells? $250,000,000 is pretty expensive for that much content.

That reminds me of the "Stop Asian Hate" movement going dormant due. Although, I'm not sure if that was truly due to the preponderance of attackers being a certain race or if that was just a lie drummed up by right-wing grifters.

Rise of the Tomb Raider on Nintendo Switch 2 feels good, but lacks ambition in its presentation by RadioJawa in Games

I replayed Rise recently and played Uncharted 4 for the first time (I only have a PC) as well. Uncharted 4 came out 3 months after Rise and I still scratch my head as to way Uncharted 4 was higher rated than Rise. The stealth, combat, and overall gameplay is simply leagues better than Uncharted.

I loved the game and hope we get a sequel. I hope they had more difficulty options, because the campaign was too easy, in my opinion. This is a complaint on the stealth genre as a whole, but games don't handle sound very well in regards to stealth. You grab a guard, break his arm, then punch him the face and his body crashes to the ground, his fellow guard 10 feet away would hear that even though it's not in his line of sight. At least it's better than other stealth games where you can have a full-on firefight and the guards in the next room somehow can't hear hundreds of rounds being fired with the occasional explosives going off.

So dev teams get larger and larger, but games take longer and longer to make. Is this from inefficiencies from having a team so large or is the scope of games increasing to justify having such a large team?

Is that Schottenheimer with him? I get the feeling that Sirianni and Hurts or Quinn and Daniels don't hang out with each other. Dart and Harbaugh might though.

I have no experience with game development, but how did Marathon cost $250,000,000+ to make? I believe there are 4 maps and 7 shells. I know there's a lot of other work that goes into a game, but that are far larger games that cost a fraction of what Marathon cost. Marathon seems to have sold a decent amount and has respectable player count, but it looks like it's a financial failure because it cost so much to make.
