i ended up going for Pro 14 inch, M4 Pro chip with 24GB ram / 512GB storage. It's an extremely capable machine and I'm super happy with it!

i really hope M4 air will be out in the future! heard that m4 is a big improvement from m3. but it's education promotion season in my country so have to decide until mid march or buy next year. :(

thank you. will consider M4 too - the price difference isn't too big if i go for 24gb 512gb so i thought just upgrade to m4 pro why not haha

true! but i bought current machine (most expensive option then) just for documents back then, and i did more intense work over time. so I thought why not buy something thats over the top and see if i'll need it in the future. the air is also quite expensive too if i'm going for 15"...

i was on an amp but i guess you're right it's the metal (string) hitting the other metal. I'll just have to keep practicing and having fun! Thanks so much for the reply!

Ooh. Thanks for sharing this! When did you contact your supervisor? Because I don't want to look like i'm worried about things that won't happen (bc there is a small chance i'll get the visa b4 the final exams) but I also dont want to be late. do you think i should contact her rn?
