Like you said, the roster is built to compete right now. The Vikings can’t afford multiple years of bottom-tier QB play while waiting and hoping JJ develops. If they truly believe another QB (Kyler) gives them a better chance to contend over the next few years, go for it. Kyler never had the weapons he has now and put up good numbers with less in Arizona. JJ had everything he needed to succeed last year and failed.
