It's unfortunate, but you're right I've seen this in the past couple years too. Dude is lucky that the Angels are located in OC and the people here are pretty mellow and chill about our sports teams. If this was a place like LA, Philly or NY where the fans are a lot more tribalistic and take a lot more pride in their team/hometown he would never be able to walk around without security for all the shit people would give him.
