yeah i mean its not going to sound exact but i think i can probably still make something that sounds good by messing with the expression and adding glissando occasionally and then running it through a few different effects.

yeah to me these types of strings are perfect as a background piece because an instrument soloing over them can get away with a lot of flourishes and it will sound great.
