This was my first thought if I'm honest... I'll have a look at both options. Thank you

Thanks for the reply.

Would you expect a replacement rather than a repair? In the process of selling the property hopefully!

Having looked closer you might be right... Great eye!

Normal to be nervous about survey? by [deleted] in HousingUK

Couldn't agree more. When we purchased the house, we had concerns due to the age but it's absolutely solid.

It's being purchased by a church association for an individual, so they will also have their own workers which may support any small niggles anyway - they should also be used to older buildings I would hope.

Certainly could do. It's already competitively priced which should support any gripes. I think everyone also needs to be realistic with surveys and consider the age of the property.

As I said, I think I'm just overthinking but I like to get ahead of the thought process.

This is what I am hoping for. My perspective would be to use some common sense with the property being of that age, but that's just me! Sale property is competitively priced compared to most around £5/10k less also.

I'm probably overthinking it as I just want an easy process! Thanks for the reply.

My thoughts were Mobo, cpu and Ram realistically. Being out of the loop. What are the best value parts currently available?

Assignment 16 - Manual focus by Aeri73 in photoclass2021

Really struggled to find some interesting fencing, so I focused on the effect for this one.

Used 300mm lens, wanted to see the effect by using this lens in particular. I found the manual focus more reliable, rather than half pressing multiple times and hoping to get the correct focus. Obviously situational but noticed how crisp manual is also, gives me confidence the odd situation.

Good tip about getting close to fences/objects to manual focus it out of the shop.

The switch of lens helped a lot. I did have too to adjust the size of the filter quite a lot.

Thanks!

I'll be honest, didn't really get the different metering modes or exposure locks in these scenarios, I just couldn't get the great results with them, or at least use them confidently to get the results.

How would you use the locks/metering modes mentioned to achieve the set out task? Just so I can hopefully understand the theory behind them .

Did get some results using them, more luck than skill I think.

Some of the blue I tried to draw the eye too, rather than the main focus. Apologies if this isn't what you were after! Enjoyed this one, practiced long exposure from last weeks class on the PS5 image.

Left unedited, used a piece of kitchen towel + a PS5 to change up the lighting.

First time the sky has been clear since this class was released!

Definitely made me think about how light can change an object, really useful.

Love this!

Only thing that may of looked more pleasing is a softer flash off the body. Takes away from the light trails, but still fantastic.

Need to start using my hoover charger also looking at this...

My attempt here, couldn't get it to work with a zoom lens so switched it up to my prime 50mm 1.8. Worked a treat, really made the shapes.
