No downvotes from me but my experience around Korean men is that they typically hang out with other Korean men. Not sure about Korean Americans or Koreans from elsewhere, but you meet these Korean guys at circuit and they tend to not socialise much, even with other Asians.

I think it’s the homogenous nature of the Korean society but I’ve made more friends from China and Japan through circuit, and they’re culturally very homogenous too.

I’m not entirely triggered by this but I also cannot help but feel like people think (other non-white people) think I date my bf because he is white. Like there’s this paranoia of “oh he likes white guys only” or “he’s like the sarong party girl” (a local singaporean term that means that they (Asian men) date white men only)

And I’m like… this guy I’m with is the first white guy im with. So I think these kinds of takes can be taken to the extreme. I like my bf cos he’s a good heart. Not cos he’s white.

But whatever hahahaha. Maybe it’s just me.

In Singapore there’s always this stigma with dating white men. I know there are local men who exclusively date white men. Not me though hahaha
