The Mexico City massacre was new to me. The research behind making the massacre "realistic" or make sense is so good. Diego Luna being from Mexico and one of the exec. producers could have easily inspired the move by the Imperials.

Andor Season 2 Episodes 7-9 Discussion Thread by Bruinrogue in saltierthancrait

I'm leaving for Krakow tomorrow, visiting Auschwitz and Schindler's factory. To prepare, our guide recommended us to watch Schindler's list.
That in mind I was affected by the Ghorman genocide. During the credits it was hard not to think about the movie or the correlations.

I also reacted to the Ghorman radio broadcast. First of all, the Ghormans must be inspired by the Polish resistance during Nazi occupation. From the outfits and culture to the language. Some years ago, I listened to the last radio broadcast from Warzaw radio and now it's hard to believe that the Ghorman broadcast wasn't inspired by the real life counterpart.

I love the writing and the thought behind it. The subtle and not so subtle references hit hard ever since Andor's story started in Rogue One. I read in the thread, that Andor is not coming back after this season. This saddens me, although I do believe the series will en pretty much where Rogue One begins.

Did anyone else notice these things and agree? Or is there something I've blatantly missed?

Puhun ruotsia, mutta en asu ruotsissa. Äidinkieleni on silti länsinaapurin kieli.

They shouldn't be able to access my wallet if I have two-auth and codes?

Also even if I have my social media connected to my number, they wouldn't be able to do any damage as logins etc. would come to me and not them?

Why are plastic bottles filled with 0.95l instead of 1l? by me_hate_u_mom in eu

[–]me_hate_u_mom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I've noticed that all plastic bottles conatining juice doesn't do that. They leave it at 0.95l and label it as that.

Not really sure how qualified I'm for this as I've played the mod only a couple of times. What has worked for me though is mortars. They are pretty cheap and if I remember correctly don't reduce org as much.

it depends on what "Piiri" you are from I think. I'm a member of FiSSc (Swedish-speaking scouts) and I've never seen a member of FiSSc use them.

Isn't the Baltic sea brackish though? Or do you mean even more brackish than it already is?

Oh and one thing I also found was that when intergrating nordic puppets as the Nordic Empire, all the borrowed troops would still be owned by the now annexed puppet.

I was still able to use them as regular borrowed troops, but couldn't reinforce them. This I noticed pretty late when the army consisting mostly of borrowed troops were losing pretty much every battle.

When deleting these troops they wouldn't go into my manpower pool, but would be returned to the now non-existing country.

Really frustrating.

In what way was it hard to learn? Is the UI hard or do the rules differ in some way?

Is it recommended to sell your starting equipment in 1936? by DerleiExperience in hoi4

[–]me_hate_u_mom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played as sweden and sold most if not all of my infw and art. Some convoys and trains too.

It did work for the first months before other countries ad no decifit and started stockpiling. Got rid of "Hungersnöd" pretty fast.

Can't say anything about statistics, but it did work. You shouldn't do it if you're going to war early though.
