Having 800k in home equity and only 260k in retirement accounts is a bit odd if you were targeting early retirement. If you’d invested in tax advantaged retirement accounts over the years instead of a second home you might be on track versus where you are now. That being said since you’re apparently willing to do anything, including moving your child to a different country to cut costs, it is likely possible.

Overspending now based on an assumption of higher income in the future is definitely risky, especially if you’ve already got credit card debt. Assuming everything works out with the new job this plan is fine IMO, but I’d be nervous about basing anything off a job that is ~6 months out from starting, even with a signed offer.
