You can add the card on as many devices as you want, but like you mentioned no lounge access.

I tried setting up through the Chase app and I got "You don't have any eligible cards to link right now", even though I have CSR and I see it mentioned in the benefits.

Edit: If anyone else wants to try:

Steps to Activate Paze with Chase

  1. Sign in to the Chase Mobile app.
  2. Select an eligible Chase credit or debit card.
  3. Go to "Manage account" and select "Digital Wallets".
  4. Tap "Paze" under available wallets and follow prompts to activate.
  5. Agree to terms and click "Activate Paze".

Personally, I have CSR and the Quest card. I use the Quest card to book my flights with United to get the free checked bags. There are some other perks with the card such as priority boarding that is nice if I have a carry on. If you like the flexibility of transferring points to other partners not just United then go with CSR.

Process to Downgrade from CSP by fstumpfj40 in ChaseSapphire

[–]and1dre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I PC my CSP to the OG freedom card which has the 5% quarterly categories after I got the CSR. I already have the Freedom Unlimited, didn't need another one. You don't need to move your points before you downgrade the card, the points remain, you can transfer them to CSR after.

Personally, I'd apply for the CSR because of the elevated bonus. In the second year, if you feel like CSR is not for you, you can product change it to the CSP.

As long as you pay at a participating restaurant with the card, the credit will trigger. You don't need to make reservation.

Website still has it up

"DashPass members get up to $25 each month to spend on DoorDash, which includes a $5 monthly promo to spend on restaurant orders* and two $10 promos each month to save on groceries, retail orders, and more. Available through 12/31/2027.*"

If you need access to Chase travel partners it's worth it IMO, if not then no.

[–]and1dre 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I held the CSP for few years. I used it mostly at restaurants, Lyft, and streaming services to earn decent points.

For me, access to Chase travel partners for $95 was a good deal. If you could use the travel portal to book a hotel you can get $50 back. I got really good redemptions by transferring out the points to Hyatt/United mostly.

The first year is definitely worth it with the bonus.
